Go Blog Social: 2014

Last year I was lucky enough to attend the first Go Blog Social in Kansas City. It was an amazing event with so many inspirational speakers that I left feeling ready to take over the world (which is what this blog is all about!).  You will learn all about growing social media, meet brands in person and network with other bloggers.

If you are looking for an amazing way to kick off 2014 you should grab an early bird ticket at the discounted price now. I hope to see you in April!

Little Notes

In life I strive to be someone who goes above in beyond. In our digital world it is easy to keep in contact with friends via text, email, social media - I mean how easy is it now? The one detail I try to keep alive are sending notes. Whether it be for a birthday, holiday or just because I love sending snail mail! It's nice to add that personal touch to those you care about.

This past Christmas I was lucky enough to receive this amazing Kate Spade Rotating Stamp & Pad and I put it to instant use!

I added a little stamp to the back of my holiday cards (although they weren't holiday themed, I have to go for funny/cute instead always!). Don't you think it just adds a little extra love?!

One of my goals this year is to learn calligraphy so I can make my lettering look whimsical. I picked up this set and just need to take a class to get started!

What are the little things you try to do in life?

To New Beginnings

A blank page. That's what this is to me. With the New Year comes time to reflect on what we have done in the past year and what we want to accomplish this upcoming year.

Who do I want to be?
What do I want to do?

These are all questions I asked myself this year. I feel as though I have changed so much in my 20's so far. I'm starting this blog to share what inspires me, what is beautiful to me, to spotlight women working it and overall leading a festive life.

At the end of the day I want a beautiful life. I want that for you too. I welcome you to share this journey with me as I discover the ambition in the world.

This past New Year's Eve I hosted a party for a few close friends and it was so much fun. I am still finding glitter everywhere! Here are a few snapshots!

I am big on resolutions. I crossed off each of mine last year! They aren't so much as 'changes' but things I want to do. Here are 2014's!

1) Travel to a new city (or two!). I’m hoping to visit my friend Jenna in Nashville and squeeze in a new adventure with Nick!
2) Take a calligraphy class. I picked up a calligraphy set and I am amazed by what people can create and I want to learn to be just as fabulous at it!
3) Take a photography class. This has been on my list for a while and I’m going to make it happen!
4) Run 2 half marathons.  I had so much fun at my first half last year I can’t wait to do one again when it warms up!
What are you looking forward to conquering in 2014?
